BioCharacter Sabaku no Gaara

Sexuality sex. . .uality? Gaara has never really thought about that. . . Hmm. . .
Appearance Gaara is still just a teenage boy growing (slowly mind you) into a young man. Sea foam green eyes rimmed in black (from lack of sleep) gleam under a brow tattooed with the kanji of ‘love’ etched into his skin using his own blood as ink. His short hair is such a deep bright red that people think of freshly spilt blood when they first set eyes on it. He has no other hair on his body (that one can see) because his sand armor has smoothed it all away, leaving his skin soft and clear of any blemishes.
Gaara isn’t much for thinking about what he wears, thinking of practicality more then anything. Most of the time he wears a long red or black coat that touches his neck and reaches down to his ankles. Black pants go along with the coat with a few bands of white around the legs. His belts carry his usual ninja weapons and supplies and his gray vest helps with the burden of his gourd. And his trusty gourd rests on his back most of the time as it is his prime defense. All of which is covered by the white formal robes of the Kazekage (excluding the gourd).
Personality Gaara is a quite and mostly soft spoken individual with a serious disposition. In the past he may have been a violent and angry person, but now he is calm and gentle; thinking of others more then himself. Curious and inquisitive which is at times cute but a little offsetting when blunting asking awkward questions.
This does not mean that he is in any way not passionate or opinionated. Believing that to truly be you must have others to exist for. And that one most take care of themselves before they can do anything for others. He wishes to be as strong as his first friend; the first person to ever defeat him in a battle.
Abilities/Strengths Manipulating sand is Gaara’s ability that people will notice right off; mostly used as a unstoppable defense, that almost has a mind of its’ own. Can also be used for deadly earth moving attacks. He is capable of make sand from any type of earth, but takes up more energy to use unlike his chakra infused sand that resides in his gourd.
It isn’t just is natural born abilities that make Gaara a strong adversary, but it is his will and determination along with his beliefs that make him a near unstoppable force. For now he as new even stronger reason for his own existence. And may he be punished if he is not able to be resilient enough for the ones that he finds dear.
Weapons Sand or sand made from the mother earth at his feet is his physical weapon that he can form about any shape out of and have it be as hard as any metal. As the Kazekage, Gaara has a large diverse knowledge of basic and rare weapons, the ninjustu that his people use along with his enemies. Most special techniques are no mystery to him even the rare bloodline abilities. Because there is no greater weapon for Gaara then his intelligence and knowledge. How else did you think he became Kazekage at such a young age?
Weaknesses His physical weaknesses in a fight is water and explosives, to an extent. But for Gaara it isn’t really anything physical that weakens him, it is his own mind that can upset the balance to his ability to stand on is own to feet. He does not care for the things that make him uncomfortable and irritable. Having a demon ravage your mind and scare you into never sleeping, because you fear your very existence devoured, can have an irreplaceable effect on one’s psyche. Such things leave him short tempered and just a little insane.
Though Shukaku is no longer there inside him the damage is still there; if slowly healing. Without the Jinchuuriki’s never ending suply of chakra, Gaara finds himself falling into sleep at the most inappropriate times, leaving him in dangerous and embarrassing situations.
